BrightWork features several useful in-product guidance and help systems.
BrightWork Help can be found using the ? tab on the side of the page. This help dialog can be repositioned and pinned across pages so following multi-page instructions (e.g. Creating a Project) is a simple task. The panel pulls information from the online BrightWork help so your help is always up-to-date.
BrightWork Help can also be found using the BrightWork Help link in the Site actions link at the top of the page.
At the top of each core page - Project Home page, Project Areas etc. - is a dismissable block with links to three short videos. These videos are designed to get new users up-to-speed with BrightWork and explain its key concepts. The block can be dismissed by clicking the X, and re-enabled by using the settings dialog in the in-product help window.
BrightWork also has helpful walkthroughs that describe common SharePoint and BrightWork features. New users logging into the site will have brief explanations appearing that introduce them to SharePoint elements like lists, or navigation.
These walkthroughs can be dismissed by clicking the X, or by using the settings dialog in the in-product help window.
Note: These features can be disabled individually at a site collection level, by clicking Site Settings > Site Collection Features. Note that if you deactivate the BrightWork Enhanced Help site collection feature, this will revert to using the installed local help.
