What's new in BrightWork 16.29?

Cross-Site Navigation

  • A new approach for cross-site navigation has been added with the inclusion of a new feature built into BrightWork Reporter. The Navigation Panel appears on the existing page and overlays the existing content for easy access to flexible navigation options.
  • The new Navigation Panel has been added to the Task Tracker template.

Work Cache Real-Time Processing

  • The Work Cache has switched to fast real-time processing, replacing the previous timer job that ran every 15 minutes. Changes to Work Items trigger updates to the Work Cache as they happen, and will appear in Reports using the Work Cache immediately.

Grid Updates

List Grid View Web Part
  • The List Grid View web part is now available as a general purpose web part, and not limited to use in the Task Tracker template.
Grid Sections Now Optional
  • Sections, which hide the detail of a summary task in the Grid, are now optional, making the List Grid View web part more suitable as a general purpose web part.
  • When disabled, Sections will display as a Summary Task, showing details like start and finish date.

BrightWork Reporter Themes

  • Three new themes have been added to BrightWork Reporter: Comfort, High Contrast and Modern Grid.

Gantt Grid-Styling
