This article describes some things you will need to be aware of when upgrading a BrightWork for SharePoint 2019 installation to a BrightWork for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition installation.
To upgrade from BrightWork for SharePoint 2019 to BrightWork for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, you must migrate from the latest release of BrightWork for SharePoint 2019 to the latest release of BrightWork for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition.

For example, to upgrade to the first release of BrightWork for SharePoint Server Subscription Edition, which is release 24.26.1, you must upgrade from BrightWork 19.26.1.

Note: If installing BrightWork in an environment with SharePoint side-by-side upgrade functionality enabled, follow these steps:
Install-SPApplicationContent, run Copy-SPSideBySideFiles on all servers.The upgrade approach supported is the database-attach method. Please see here for more information on this.
