The default macro-enabled Microsoft Project mpp file that resides in the Site Assets library in the out-of-the-box Project Structured template comes with a very small project structure. This topic describes the various ways to populate the plan at the start of the project. After you have your plan ready, you should Create a Project Baseline.
Note: Your plan should only ever include one top-level summary item. It has an Outline Number of 1. All other items in the project should be children of this item.
If you create any additional top-level Summary items, the % Complete project summary data in SharePoint may be inaccurate.

Note: You should do a sync before populating the Tasks list.
Note: When copying and pasting in data you should be aware that the BrightWork macro reserves certain Project columns and will overwrite any data in these columns when you calculate the project.
Note: The BrightWork-enabled mpp file you upload or paste in must have the same name as the one you delete. Generally this is BrightWork - Project Structured Sync.mpp.
If you want to rename the mpp file you must establish the initial link between the file and the Tasks list from Microsoft Project.
